Project Description
Becker & Lee LLP is an immigration law firm based in San Francisco, California. They address many complexities faced by families and businesses as they navigate the immigration system.
B & L is the client of Delapp Design, one of our partners, who contracted GPS to implement their awesome design.
No Hard-Coded Copy
We particularly focused on making the content accessible to web administrators, so all copy (and microcopy) you see on the site may be edited via custom fields from the WordPress dashboard. None of it is hard-coded.
Interesting Features
Some interesting features on this custom-built site include…
- a mega-menu feature that allows visitors to brows the many practice areas for the firm
- a carousel that automatically pulls from the list of selected attorney profiles
- page-specific sidebars — several pages, such as the practice areas called for custom sidebars that held menus to related pages
- the search results page automatically adds search terms to a contact form, encouraging visitors to communicate directly with attorneys
Fully Responsive
Like all of the sites we build, this site is fully responsive with a number of interesting responsive details.
- attorney profile page includes a sidebar menu that becomes an animated dropdown on mobile screens
- the mobile menu is beautifully animated, sliding in from the right when activated
- the mobile menu includes several sub-levels to accommodate the extra depth of the practice areas
